Bonnie Drew Sparks Brooks, 77, widow of Charles Nelson Brooks, passed away Monday, jan. 6th 2014 at her home. Mrs. Brooks was a native of Lee County, KY, a daughter of the late Arthur and Delilah Hamilton Sparks. Mrs. Brooks was a homemaker. Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her husband Charles Nelson Brooks; a daughter Teresa Edmonson; her sons Fred Arthur Canter, and Billy Eugene Brooks; her brothers Ballard Sparks and an infant brother Lewis Sparks; two sisters Martha Hammock and Lynn Poole.

Survivors include her daughters Charlene Slone (and boyfriend Dwayne Woolery) Pearl Bishop, Ruby House, Sharon Richardson (and husband Raymond), Donna Cooper, Cindy Cox (and husband Perry), and Wanda Fox; two sons Jim Brooks, and Ray Brooks ( and wife Cathy); her brother Adrian Sparks (and wife Linda); three sisters Carrie Tincher, Irene Steward, and Jean Ruth.

Services will be held Thursday, January 9th at 2:00 pm, at the Oakdale Cemetery with Bro. Scott Rogers officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm at the Lewis Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne Woolery, Donald Walling, Steven Ferguson, Jeff Schiding, Jim Brooks, and Ray Brooks.
