Lee- Mr. Freddie "Dook" Leon Lee age 68 of Lenox, Alabama passed away early Monday morning January 6, 2014 at his residence after a brief illness. He was a native and life long resident of Conecuh County, Alabama. Mr. Lee was of the Baptist Faith, A U.S. Army Veteran, A member of the American Legion, and a retired Millwright from International Paper Company with 33 years of service.
Survivors: Wife- Gwen Laster Lee of Lenox, Alabama (1) son-Jeffrey (Pam) Lee of Lenox, Alabama (3) sisters- Magdalene Booker of Semmes, Alabama, Maxine Smith of Semmes, Alabama, Carolyn Uptagraff of Mobile, Alabama,(2) Grandchildren- Blaine Lee, Nicole Lee.
Visitation will be Thursday afternoon January 9, 2014 from 1 until 2:00 P.M. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home Brewton, Alabama.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday afternoon January 9, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Boatwright officiating. Interment will follow in Buffington Cemetery Castleberry, Alabama with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton, Alabama Directing.
Mr. Lee was a Son-in-law of Sidney Cleveland & Elberta Cooper Laster
