He was born July 9, 1921 in Dover the son of Nicholas and Trianthi (Morakos) Koutrelakos, graduated from Dover High School, attended McIntosh Business College and graduated from UNH with a degree in electrical engineering. He was a WWII US Navy veteran. He retired from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in 1973 as a Nuclear Electrical Engineer. He then opened his real estate company, GK Realty.
As a pillar of the community he was a member of The Dover Housing Authority, Lions Club, Mason's, AHEPA, American Legion, Knight's Templar, Society of Real Estate Appraisers, Strafford County Board of Realtors, and The Greek Orthodox Church.
Greg was the life of the party, wherever he was and friend to all. He very much enjoyed maple squares from Harvey's Bakery along with daily breakfasts there with his friends. His presence and his love for everyone will be forever missed!
He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Peter Koutrelakos, Theodore Koutrelakos, Dorothy Story and Harriett McKenna, and his son-in-law Lester Green.
Burial in the Annunciation Cemetery.
