Kurt John Cooper, 39, of Salem, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2005. He loved playing golf and pool and will be missed by his many friends and family members. His surviving family includes his parents, James J. and Virginia H. Cooper; sons, Cory Ross Cooper, Danny Daly, Jessee Miller, and Tate McCraken; brothers, Darrell L. Cooper and wife, Suzan, Kevin L. Cooper, and Troy A. Cooper; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 11 a.m. at East Hill Cemetery in Salem with the Rev. Roy Rogers officiating.
