Extract from "Ancestors of Ezra Bliss Church of Ferrisburgh, Vermont" by Lorraine McElroy Peirce (1964):
Isaac Church, Jr. was born on June 26, 1776 in Shutesbury, Massachusetts, the son of Isaac Church and Eleanor Daniels Church. He was married to Rebecca Bliss, who was born in Preston, Connecticut, on April 12, 1779, the daughter of Samuel Bliss and Sarah Brown Bliss. Very little is known about Isaac Church, Jr. He was living in Hinesburg, Chittenden County, Vermont, in 1801 when his son Ezra was born. In about 1834 Isaac and Rebecca moved to Berea, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Isaac died on Aug 20, 1858 in nearby Columbia, Lorain County, Ohio.

Extract from "Genealogies of Connecticut families: from the New England Historical and Genealogical Register" by Judith McGhan (1983):
Less is known about Isaac Church than about any other named in this record. Born in Shutesbury, Mass., in 1776 he was living in Hinesburg, Vt., in 1801 when his son Ezra Bliss was born. His wife's maiden name was Rebecca Bliss. About 1834 Isaac removed to Berea, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. He seems to have been the only person in this line who did not maintain the Bible Record. The birth of his son Ezra Bliss is shown in the Bible but it is in the same handwriting that records the birth of Ezra's wife, Harriet Sattley, and his children so it would seem that Ezra took up the family record where his grandfather stopped.
Five of Ezra's nine children lived in Ferrisburgh. The rest of the family removed to California by 1860 following the lead of Isaac Sattley, the oldest son, who had yielded to the call of the gold rush ten years before. The family settled, finally, at "Church's Corner" in Sierra County which was later renamed Sattley in honor of the wife of Ezra Bliss Church. The Churches still live in Sattley and on the hill near the town is the private cemetery of the Church Family in which many descendants of John and Amey (Winter) Church are buried.

He married Rebecca B Bliss 5 Jan 1800.
