He was born on July 29, 1928, on Hunting Ground, WV, the son of the late Charlie Noah and Mary Elizabeth (Wimer) Warner.
Charles married Betty Lee (Cornell) Warner, who preceded him in death on September 17, 2010.
Mr. Warner attended Circleville High School and he retired in 1976 after working for 25 years as a Salesman for Coca Cola Bottling Company in Capitol Heights, MD.
He had also worked at Helms Concrete Pipe Company in Alexandria, VA and at Skate World in Seneca Rocks.
Mr. Warner is survived by: a daughter, Linda Dearstine (John) of Charlestown, WV; a sister, Priscilla Mullenax (Brooks) of Cherry Grove, WV; 2 brothers, Merle “Buck” Warner (Carolyn) of Seneca Rocks, WV, Paul Warner (Pauline) of Cleveland, OH; 6 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Roy Warner, Sr.
Mr. Warner's family will receive friends on Saturday, January 2, 2021, 12-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Shirley Bland officiating.
Interment will be in North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton, WV.
Memorials may be made to Grant Memorial Hospice, 1 Hospital Dr., Petersburg, WV, to any Pendleton County Rescue Squad or Fire Department.
