Obituary, Patriot News 3 Mar 1992, Pitman, Walter F Dud Wiest 75 of Pitman RD 1 died Sunday at home. He was a retired farmer, treasurer of Manhantongo Valley Senior Citizens of Pitman and a member of Christ United Church of Christ of Leck Kill Mahantongo Fire Company. Surviving are his wife Thelma M. Masser Wiest; a son Ralph W. of Pitman RD 1; three daughters, Lena Shadle of Spring Glen, Jean Bixler of Hegins RD 1 and Darlene Deeter of Hegins RD 2, a sister Betty Laudenslager of Gratz. 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in his church. Burial will be in Jacobs Cemetery, Pitman RD 1. Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to a memorial fund of his church, Leck Kill 17836.
