Jerry Allen Bartlett, born in Owensboro, KY, passed away Friday morning at his Greenfield residence. He was preceded in death by his mother Helen Reynolds; stepfather Charles Reynolds; father, Robert Bartlett, son, Jerry Allen Bartlett, Jr., and brothers Richard and William Reynolds. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judith (Hudson) Bartlett; daughters Tamara (Steve) Gaines, Pamela (John) Deck and son, Robert Bartlett. Jerry had 4 grandchildren, Alisha (Deck) Niehaus, Amanda (Gaines) Holmes, Megan Deck and Daniel Deck. He also had 3 great-grandchildren; Shawn Niehaus, Layla Holmes and Gabriella Fannin. Mr. Bartlett is a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Korea as a Medic. He retired from Allison Automotive as a machinist and had volunteered on the Lawrence Volunteer Fire Department, serving as both a Firefighter and EMT. Jerrry's hobbies included woodworking and spending time with his family and friends. Jerry was blessed with a large extended family and close friends that he cherished derly. Following Jerry's wishes the services will be private and he laid to rest in Mendon Cemetery near Greenfield.
