Funeral services were Jan 3 for Josephine L Cudmore, 79, who passed away at her home in TL Dec 31. Rites were in TL Baptist with Rev J K Sherman officiating. Interment in TL cemetery. Casketbearers were grandsons: Gene Hulm, Ronnie Long, Glen Cudmore, Lyle Larson, Duane Cudmore, Gene Fraser.
Josephine L Cudmore was born Sept 1, 1888, near Van Metre, SD, daughter of Henry and Millie Livermont. She married Fred Cudmore on Sept 16, 1909 at Van Metre. In 1910 they moved to Moreau River 15 miles SW of TL and 3 years later to the farm which was their home for 40 years 6 miles SE of TL. In 1952 the Cudmores moved into town.
She is survived by her husband Fred G Cudmore of TL; five sone; Charles of Glenwood, IA; Freddie L, Walter, Albert E, Grover all of TL; six daughters: Alta Whitney, Milletta (Ralph) Grage, Maxine (Ken) Long, Sarah (E F) Hulm all of TL; Mae (William) Fraser of Wasta; Norma (Ray) Larson of Mobridge; sister mrs. Sidney LeBeau of Mobridge; 35 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons; her parents; three brothers: Jack, Henry, Charles Livermont.
