1893: April 4, Neyach/Noah Adler was born in Antohol, Grodno, Russia -during Czarist years. In 1909, he, along with his sister, Rebecca (Rebekah, Rioke) G Adler (b-1895), and his mother, Esther Spelke Adler (b-1857)-- widow of Meekoel (Michael) Adler-- left Mir, Russia and arrived in New York City, on May 10, on the ship Berlin, out of Bremen, Germany. Joining his older brothers, Joseph (b-1884) and Herman (b-1886), they lived together in Stamford, Connecticut. By 1913, Noah was working (as a clerk) alongside his brother, Joseph (salesman), at 127 Pacific Drugs at 10 Hawthorne. In 1915: Noah was naturalized. In 1917, Noah listed his trade as a Public Accountant at Stratford Audit Co. in NY. In approximately 1919-20 Noah married Ida, and lived in their apartment in Stamford. By 1922, Noah worked as Secretary of the H&H Foundry and Machine Co./Harris Construction Company. By 1928, their fourth child was born. By 1929, he worked as Treasurer at Individual Laundry Service Co. Inc., and Secretary Treasurer at BT Harris Corporation. By 1932, Noah worked as Secretary/Treasurer at Stamford Industrial Bank, and Secretary/Assistant Treasurer at The Springfield Bank and Trust Co. Sadly, about December 19, 1939, Noah Adler died at age 46, leaving Ida a widow with four children. A year later, his son, Irving, was working as a loan teller at his father's old bank, while Ida worked as an insurance agent.
Noah was buried at Agudas Shalom 600 West Hill Rd., plot G34.
