Rowe, Vernon A. Wyoming Vernon Alan Rowe, age 88, formerly of Maple St. Wyoming and most recently of Victor, died Wednesday, January 1st 2014 at Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. Vernon was born in Wyoming, NY June 23rd 1925 the son of the late Dewey and Gertrude Chase Rowe. A lifetime resident of Wyoming, Vern worked 15 years with heavy equipment for the Middlebury Highway Dept, and 24 years making blacktop for Genesee-LeRoy Stone in Stafford where he retired from in 1993. Vern enjoyed long walks, hunting and watching the Buffalo Bills play. He served this nation proudly during WWII with the US Army from 1943-1946. He was preceded In death by his loving wife of 59 years Suzanne Drennen Rowe, whom he married on June 12th 1954, three brothers Donald, Richard, and Lester Rowe and a sister, Thelma Randall. Survivors include his two sons; Rick Rowe of Cheektowaga, Todd (Patricia) Rowe of Saginaw, MI, a daughter; Shawn (Jeffery) Markin of Victor, NY, two brothers; David (Glenna) Rowe of Florida, Keith (Judy) Rowe of Warsaw, a sister; Betty Rowe of Warsaw, four grandchildren and a great grandson.
