Glen C. Law, 81, of Pierson, died Thursday in a Sioux City hospital. Services were held 10:30 a.m. Monday in Salem Lutheran Church, rural Correctionville, with Rev. Martin Osterloh officiating. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery, Piersonm under direction of the Michaelson Funeral Home of Kingsley. Mr. Law was born January 14, 1901, in Franklin County, Iowa. He moved to the Pierson area in 1909 and worked for several years with the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. He married Hilda C. Rock May 10, 1924, at rural Correctionville. They farmed west of Pierson for many years, retiring to Pierson. He was a longtime office manager for the ASCS, served on the Farmers Elevator Board and was deacon, trustee and treasurer of Salem Luthern Church for many years. Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Ed (Lois) Frett of Norwalk, California, three sons, Jack of Pierson, Donald of LeMars and Paul of Woodbury, Minnesota, one sister, Mrs. Leta Ellis of Long Beach, California, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
