Harry G. Bittenbender, aged 56 years, of 183 South Lee court, died at his home Saturday evening. He was born in Sugarloaf Valley and had been associated with the grocery frim of Bittenbender Brothers, of this city, for the past forty years. He was a member of Emmanuel's Reformed church, the Men's League and the Stofflett Men's Bible Class, of that church, and a member of Council 91, P.O.S. of A.
Surviving are his widow, formerly Jeanette Wallace, one daughter, Mrs. Clyde Stolz and two sons, LeRoy and Walter, of this city. Also his mother, Mrs. Rachel Bittenbender; three brothers, Mayor Charles B. Bittenbender, William and George Bittenbender, and one granddaughter, all of this city.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the late residence with services in Emmanuel's Reformed church at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Mountain View cemetery.
