75 year old Bob Curtis of McMinnville died Wednesday at his residence. He was the son of the late Landy Lee Lucille Evans Curtis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Granddaughter, Kimberly Curtis; 1 Grandson, Robby R. Curtis (FAG 53024358); 2 Brothers, Davie and Arthur Curtis; 2 Sisters, Jessie Dunn and Ruth Adkins.
He was a member of the Providence Baptist Church and retired from the DeKalb County Highway Dept.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Evie Curtis of McMinnville; 3 Sons, Bobby J. Curtis, Jr., Ronnie J. Curtis and Ricky L. and his wife Jenni all of McMinnville; 8 Grandchildren, Bobby J. Curtis, III, Julie N. McCormack, Laura C. Curtis, Christina M. Curtis, Rachel D. Gay, Cory Curtis, Ricky L. Curtis, Jr., Landy R. Curtis; 23 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Brother, Roger and his wife Polly of Florida; 1 Sister, Betty and her husband Kenny Laboe of Smithville.
The funeral service will be at 1:PM Saturday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Steve Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery in the Lucky Community. Visitation will be Friday 2:PM until 8:PM and Saturday 10:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
