STANLEY, Ky. -- Edna Scott Basham, 82, Stanley, passed away at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at Owensboro Medical Center in Owensboro.

Mrs. Basham was of the Protestant faith. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Basham.

Survivors include four daughters, Wanda Wilson of Henderson, Edna Louise White and her husband, Buddy, Vickie Hallman and Shirley Bullington and her husband, Fred, all of Evansville; four sons, Bobby Scott and his wife, Mae, and Ray Scott and his wife, Judy, all of Henderson, Joe Scott and his wife, Stella, of Spottsville and Don Scott of Stanley; seven stepdaughters, Dorothy Russell of Mount Vernon, Ind., Nellie Whistle of Tell City, Ind., Carolyn Basham, Martha Gail Colvin, Sharon Dersch, Doris Sperry and Vickie Lynn Jones, all of Evansville; two stepsons, Gene Scott of Owensboro and Larry Basham of Princeton, Ind.; 18 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Carter will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Reed.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Services 11 a.m. Friday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home in Henderson, burial in Mount Zion Cemetery in Reed. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday.
