Richard Samuel Passmore, 52, of Trinity, NC, formerly of Waynesville, NC, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in Winston-Salem, NC. He was a native of Haywood County, NC but had lived in Trinity for the past eight years. Richard had worked in the furniture industry and he was of the Baptist faith.
He was the son of the late James W. and Janette Grant Passmore of Trinity.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a daughter, Brandy Passmore of Trinity; a brother, Scotty Passmore of Asheboro, NC; and a grandson, Colton Pena.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 4, 2014 in the Bethel Hill Baptist Church in the Nantahala Community with the Rev. David Postell officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
