Mr. Hively was born in Stark county. He was formerly a blacksmith at Alta.
Surviving are four children, Mrs. Ethel Shortess, Miss Eva Hively, Elmer and Ellis Hively; a sister in Kansas, a sister in Loudonville and a brother at North Liberty.
Funeral Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Burial in Lexington.
