WASH, Pansy McBride, 85, wife of Claude Wash, Jr., died Wed. Mar. 16, 2011 at her residence. Born Feb. 27, 1926 in Lexington, KY, she was the daughter of the late James B. and Blanche Downing McBride. Mrs. Wash was a homemaker and charter member of Gardenside Christian Church. In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Gail (Roger) Jones, Lexington; stepsons, Charles A. (Grace) Wash, Richmond and Michael C. (Julie) Wash, Versailles; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, June Hill, Lexington and Gail (Jim) Waldron, Louisville; and sister-in-law, Sandy McBride, Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William Kenny and Donnie McBride; and one sister, Ann Presley. Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Mon. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Minister Charles Delaney. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Sun. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mountain Mission School, 1760 Edgewater Drive, Grundy, VA 24614.
