Jack attended LaSalle University in Philadelphia and received a degree in Sociology. At LaSalle, he was co-captain of the Varsity Swim team. After graduation, Jack joined the USMC and attained the rank of captain.
Jack married Kathleen Kennedy in February 1954 and entered the F.B.I. as a special agent. He served in New Haven, CT, New York City and Las Vegas (Reno) Division and retired in 1980.
Jack is survived by his wife of 59 years Kathleen; son, John Jr. of Reno; daughter, Ellen Parks (Guy) of Parker, Colorado; his sister, Dorothy Joyce of Philadelphia; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jack served as a director of the Navy League in Reno and a member of the Society of former FBI Agents. He also was a longtime volunteer at the Reno Air Races. Jack and Kaye traveled extensively through Europe & Egypt. He enjoyed swimming and sailing at Lake Tahoe with his son, John. He was an amazing, loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
