His death certificate says his middle name is Waldorf, but my research shows it may be Waldo. It also says his father was Jasper Acuff. The information was given by his wife,"Lillie G. Acuff". I believe this may have been his 2nd wife, who didn't know the correct information.
My research shows there is some speculation that Ralph was married to 2 women, both named Lillie/Lillian. I believe this is probably true. Looking at census records, in 1910, Ralph's wife Lillian E., is 32 years old & born in GA. In 1920, she's 35 & born in AL. The 1915 & 1917 Phoenix City Directory has the name(Blanton) after Lillian's name. Lillian Blanton Acuff died in 1917. I believe she is Ralph's 1st wife, & he married a Lillian/Lillie G., sometime before 1920.
It also appears that Ralph had no children.
