On March 3, 1901, she was married to William TIMMONS, and to this union were born seven children—three boys, and four girls—of whom six survive, one having died in infancy. The surviving children are Ray, Lewis, Mary, Hettie, Ruth and Galen. Her father and one brother preceded her to that better land. Her husband, mother, four brothers and four sisters survive, and a host of relatives and friends mourn her demise.
She was converted at Walnut Grove Church when she was fifteen years of age, and united with that church and has always lived a consistent Christian life. She was kind to every one, and had a good word for everybody she met. She was always patient with all the trials, which come up in life; always putting the bright side to everything. She bore her affliction with patience; never complaining. The Lord saith, “Thou hast been faithful in a few things, come up higher, I will make you ruler over many.
We feel with great consolation that she has gone where a crown is laid up in heaven.
