When Minnie Barber married George on August 24, 1913, his last name was Krueger. The U.S. Census for Hill, Ogemaw County, Michigan for 1920 lists the family living under the name of Craiger. In 1923 when their daughter Ruth passed, Minnie's father, William Henry Barber, reported their last name as being Craiger. When William Henry Barber died in 1945 his obituary listed his daughter as Mrs. Minnie Craiger. Some of the children of Minnie and George lived and died under the last name of Craiger and some under the last name of Krueger. It is not known when they again became known as Krueger instead of Craiger. By the 1930 U.S. Census the family was back to being known as Krueger. Upon their deaths, Minnie Barber and George Krueger were listed with the last name of Krueger.
