Ralph Wayne Castle, 39, of 700 Samuels street, was killed instantly at 6:05 p.m. yesterday when the tandem dump truck he was driving was struck by a Rock Island freight train near Nettleton, Mo. He was born June 11, 1928 at Bogard, the son of Ralph R. Castle and Alta Dowell Castle. He moved to Livingston County as a small boy where he spent the rest of his life. He attended school at Chillicothe and on Sept. 2, 1961 he was married to Betty L. Sharp at Miami, Okla. She survives of the home at 700 Samuels. In addition to children, Kurt Dewayne, 5, and Kimberly Sue, 15 months, he is survived by two step-children, Kathy Sowder and Kevin Lee of the home; his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Castle, 618 Samuels. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the chapel of the Norman Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Walter Bingham. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens at Chillicothe. The casket will not be opened
