Clarence William Carmack of Canon City died after a lengthy illness at a local care center on Wednesday, June 28, 1989, at the age of 66. He was born Jan. 23, 1923 in Cedar Hill, N. M. to George Franklin and Anna Winifred (Flack) Carmack.
Mr. Carmack moved to Colorado as child and lived in Canon City intermittently for 10 years. He had worked as a professional painter and wallpaperer.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine Weeks Carmack, Canon City; a son: Ronnie Bryant, Woodland; brothers: James Forrest Carmack, Winona Lake Ind.; George Gerald Carmack, Honolulu, Hawaii; Wayne Carmack and Kenneth Carmack, both of Colorado Springs.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and his parents.
Mr. Carmack had requested local cremation through Holt Crematory and no services. Private family interment.
