RIDGELAND – Laura Beatrice Love, 71, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson. She was born Dec. 2, 1941, in Memphis to Edward Pleasants and Willie Evans Love. She attended United Methodist Church of Ridgeland, and she was a librarian at the University of Mississippi.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, at Lebanon Methodist Church with the Rev. Thomas Sorrell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery in Potts Camp. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, Raymond Thetford Jr. of Ridgeland and Stephen Thetford of Alexandria, Va.; daughter, Elizabeth Thetford of Paducah, Ky.; four brothers, Edward Love of Somerville, Tenn., Gary Love of Walls, Larry Love of Pontotoc and Daniel Love of Somerville; sister, Brenda Kaye Love of Oxford; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. prior to service Monday in the funeral home chapel.
