Wallace Erwin Horn, age 92, of Dublin, Texas, passed away December 4, 2013, in Hico, Texas. Wallace was born August 30, 1921, in Lovejoy, Texas, to Joseph Benham and Willard (Fondren) Horn. He married Edith Estelle Carnathan on February 16, 1945, in Sherman, Texas. Wallace grew up in McKinney where he attended schools. He farmed all of his life. Wallace enjoyed hunting and fishing and later in life enjoyed woodworking. Wallace was a member of First Christian Church in McKinney.

He is survived by his son, Jack Horn of Dublin, Texas; granddaughters, Staci Boone and husband, Arnulfo of Dublin, Texas, Kelly Horn of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Jacklyn Horn, also of Dublin; and great-grandchildren, Derek Boone, Rilee Boone, and Nathaniel Hernandez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services were held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment followed at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family received friends during a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
