She married the widower, Garland "Garley" Grimes, prior to 1930, in Jessamine County. Mr. Grimes passed away, in 1947, and she, eventually, married again. Mrs. Storms had lived in Louisville for over a decade, prior to her death.
•Obituary-Mrs. Lula Storms, 97, died at 11:40 p.m. Monday at St. Anthony Hospital. She resided at 6008 South Drive, Valley Station, and was a native of Marion County.
Survivors include one son, John William Cooley, of Wilmore; four grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Wilmore (Ky.) Baptist Church with burial in the Wilmore Cemetery. The body is at Dunn Memorial Funeral Home, 518 N. 26th, and will be at church from noon Thursday until the time of service.
