Graveside service for Mrs. Wayne King Pace, 76, of Auburn is Tuesday, September 20, 2005, at 10 a.m., at Auburn Memory Park Cemetery. The Revs. Dr. George Mathison and Nick Holler are officiating. Visitation is Monday at 6 to 8 p.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pace, who died Saturday, September 17, 2005, in Columbus, Ga., was born March 21, 1929, in Elba, AL. A native of Elba, Mrs. Pace had lived the past fifty-five years in Auburn. She was a member of Auburn United Methodist Church. Mrs. Pace was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Pace was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis (Lora) King, and a brother, Roy King.
She is survived by a husband of 55 years, John Pace; two daughters, Penny (Joey) Hundley and Patty (Ben) Poe, both of Auburn; two sisters, Vera Brown of Destin, FL. and Mary Moore of Mobile, AL; three grandchildren, Joshua, Rhiannon and Rachel Hundley; and several nieces and nephews.
