Sebastian was the son of Valentine and Susannah Keely. His wife was Elizabeth (nee probably Fry). Their children were
John, Mathias (merchant of Phila), Jacob, Andrew, Sebastian (died 1791 at James Island, SC), George, Joseph and Elizabeth.

Per orphans court records in Sebastian's estate file, as of 13 Aug 1779, sons Jacob, Andrew and Sebastian were minors over the age of 14. Son Joseph and daughter Elizabeth were minors under the age of 14.
Additional petitions filed in 1782 show sons Sebastian and George as minors over 14 and son Joseph and daughter Elizabeth as minors under 14. [Thus Joseph and Elizabeth were both born after 1768.]
