Glen Roy Ford, 84, of Lubbock passed away Christmas Day with his family at his side.
Glen was born on July 19, 1929 to the late Ace and Goldy (Keltner) Ford in Ashland, KS. He grew up on the family farm with nine other siblings. He served in the Marines for 2 years, and retired from the Army National Guard after 20 years of service. He was employed with the United States Postal Service for 41 years.
On November 9, 1951 he married the love of his life Ethel.
Glen was a member of the Oakwood United Methodist Church. He enjoyed life, and held three things close to his heart; family, work, and sports. Throughout his life his strong work ethic followed him.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Justin Ford.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Ethel; children, Terry( Donna), Roger( Terri), Tressa Goodnight and David( Melissa); 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 1 brother; 1 sister; a host of other relatives and friends.
