He was raised in Derby Acres and was currently a senior at Taft Union School. Chad attended the Olive Knolls Church of the Nazarene in Bakersfield. He was an active member in FHA, Interact, Friday Night Live, Block T and Renaissance. Chad was also a member of the Gusher Staff. He was selected as the December 1997 Hero of Kern County. His survivors include his loving parents, Gary and Coleen Morris and his adoring sister Cory Morris.
