Johnny Frye Sr., a resident of Del City, formerly of Henryetta, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 in Midwest City, OK at the age of 72. He was born December 3, 1941 in Henryetta, OK to Harbie Frye Sr. & Hepsey (Walker) Frye.
Johnny served the United States in the Air Force during the Vietnam Era.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harbie Frye Sr. and Hepsey Frye, his paternal grandparents, Sam and Leechie Frye, one infant sister, one infant brother, Brother, Leroy Frye, and brother Robert Frye, and three grandchildren.
Wake services will be held on Monday at 7pm at Thewarle Indian Baptist Church near Dustin, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Thewarle Indian Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Whitlow, officiating. Interment will follow at Harjo Family Cemetery near Salem, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
