Born at North Adams, Mass., Mrs. Patnode came to Schenectady when she was five years of age. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy, and was a member of St. Joseph's Academy Alumnae association.
She had lived here until four years ago, when she moved to Galway. She and her husband moved to a new home in Yankeetown, last October.
Besides her husband, Linus V. Patnode, she is survived by two sons, Richard A. Patnode of Schenectady, Thomas H. Patnode of Newburgh; a daughter, Mrs. Walter M. Sutton of Laurel Bay, SC: two sisters, Mrs. John J. O'Brien and Mrs. Ira N. Schermerhorn, both of Schenectady; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday a 8:30 a.m. at the Light funeral home, and at 9 o'clock at the Sacred Heart Church, where a requiem high mass will be celebrated.
Burial will be in the Most Holy Redeemer cemetery.
The funeral home will be open Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
