Betty Louise (Benbow) Speakerman Mobley was born on 29 Oct 1940 to Dunnie H. Benbow and Lucille (MNU) Benbow. She died on 24 Dec 2013 at the age of 73. She was a graduate of the University of Houston Victoria Campus. She held many professions at the comptroller's office in Austin. She was a teacher with Willis and Austin school districts. She was very active in the Democrat Party at the local and national levels where she held positions at various political offices. She was a member of the Social Order of the Beauceant and the Order for the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she enjoyed spending time with and loved. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Andrew Leon Speakerman; her second husband, Jerry Hollan Mobley; and her sister, Willie Jeanette Benbow.
