TOMMIE S. MONTGOMERY, 96, of Duncan, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005, in Duncan.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Prairie Hill Church of Christ, Meridian, with Mario Pineda officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Comanche, under direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Tommie was born July 2, 1909, in Stephens County to Walter Reed Carter and Bertie Lee Shannon Carter.
She was married to Olan Willeford, a union from which four daughters were born. She married Thomas A. Montgomery in 1964. He preceded her in death Dec. 14, 2001.
She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Prairie Hill Church of Christ for many years.
Survivors include four daughters: Imogene Dumos Gildon and Joan Hodges, both of Duncan, Betty Garrett of Comanche, and Joy Foster of Hurst, Texas; two stepdaughters: Elizabeth Mangham of Stephenville, Texas, and Mary Still of Dallas, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preced in death by two brothers; six sisters; and a granddaughter.
Bearers will be her grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Tipton Orphans Home.
