Through the years, Eunice enjoyed bowling, playing cards, golfing, making crafts, crocheting afghans for nieces and nephews and spending time with her family. While living in Ft. Dodge, Eunice was a volunteer at Trinity Regional Hospital in the gift shop.
She moved to Algona to Huskamp Haven in 2008 to be closer to her nieces. She moved into Good Samaritan Society ~ Algona in December, 2010 and died there on Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at the age of 95.
Survivors include her daughter Sandra and husband James Dykes of Adrian, Missouri as well as two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and two nieces Sharon and husband Bob Smith of Algona and Betty Guy of LuVerne and great nieces and great nephews. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and sisters Lois Wilson, Jewell Heinkel and Alberta Asplin.
