Daniel Gideon Wall, well known farmer and stockman of the community east of Brumley, died at his home last Friday of a prolonged illness. He had been in failing health for a year or so, having during this time received treatment in a hospital. D.G. Wall was born May 10, 1863; passed away at his home near Brumley, Mo., Jan. 13, 1933 at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 3 days.

He was married to Miss Mahala J. Pemberton, February 27, 1890, and to this union eight children were born—five sons and three daughters, two of the daughters in infancy, having preceded him in death. Members of the immediate family, consisting of his wife, one daughter and five sons, survive him, namely: Mrs. Ruby Colvin (daughter) of Muncie, Kans., Virgil and Hobart of Tuscumbia, Urshel of Richland and Noble and Ora at home. Besides his wife, daughter and sons he is survived by one brother, George; one sister, Mrs. Fanny Plemmons and many other relatives who mourn his passing.

He had been a loyal and worthy member of the Masonic lodge at Brumley for 48 years.

Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. J.C. Thompson of Brumley, at 11 o'clock a.m. Sunday, in the presence of a very large crowd of Kindred and friends. His remains were conveyed to the Williams Cemetery by Adams & Casey, funeral directors of Iberia, where an impressive Masonic funeral service was conducted by a large group of Masons from Brumley, Tuscumbia, Iberia, Eldon, Richland, Ulman and Olean.
