Ronda E. Williams, 68, went home to be with her Lord in the presence of her family at her home in New Bloomfield on Monday, December 23, 2013. She was born September 9, 1945 to the late Jesse R. and Betty (Gibney) Tressler. She was a 1963 graduate of Newport High School. Her greatest joy was her family.
Ronda is survived by her husband Edward "Ted" Williams; son, Adam Williams and wife Shree of Landisburg; daughter, Venessa Schofield and husband Frank of Hummelstown; brother, Robert L. Tressler of Newport; sisters, Patti A. Tressler and Rebecca J. Luxbacher of Newport and grandchildren, Jacob E. Williams, Carter and Mary Schofield and Noah, Aiden and Gavin Williams. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Todd Williams and brother, Randall K. Tressler.
Ronda was a loving and loyal friend and leaves behind her dear friends Anne and Mo. Ronda also leaves behind many wonderful and loving friends she met at the Women's Cancer Center. The love and care that she received by the staff there and the nurses and aides at Harrisburg Hospitals Main Eleven touched her heart and the hearts of her family.
Family and friends are invited to services for a visitation on Friday from 6-8 PM at the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport and services on Saturday at the Church of the Living Christ, 2401 Ft. Robinson Road, Loysville for a visitation from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM with Pastor Doran Wray officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Wila Cemetery.
