Joseph E. Morrow Sr., age 86, of Washington passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Washington Christian Village.
He was born Dec. 29, 1926, in Villa Grove, Ill., to Matt N. and Mella B. (Simmons) Morrow. He married Ella May Neilson on May 2, 1947, in East Peoria. She passed away Jan. 23, 2011, in Washington.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Joe Morrow Jr.; five sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Svetich of Peoria and Neva Buttell of Peoria; and one brother, Harold (Minnie) Morrow Sr. of Mackinaw.
Joe owned and operated Morrow's Plumbing in Peoria for over 50 years.
He was a member of the Mohammed Temple and was a 33rd Degree Mason.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
