John C. Anderson was born on 15 January 1814, in West Baldwin, Baldwin Twp, Cumberland County, Maine. He married Elizabeth B Goodridge on 4 September 1837, in Moscow, Lincoln County, Massachusetts. They were the parents of at nine children. Elizabeth was born in 1819 in Maine and died in 1883. She was the daughter of Benjamin Goodridge and Belinda/Melinda Baker. John lived in Oconto, Oconto County, Wisconsin in 1870 and Peshtigo, Marinette County, Wisconsin in 1880. He died on 20 August 1897, in Granite Falls, Snohomish County, Washington, at the age of 83, and was buried in Granite Falls, Snohomish County, Washington.
