The following obituary appeared in the "Patriot-News" (Harrisburg, PA) on December 20, 2013:

Mildred Rose, 94 passed away peacefully of natural causes on December 8, 2013 in Duncannon Pa. Survived by her devoted children Arthur Rose (Susan), Warren Rose (Susan) and Lauraine Rose (Mario Guarneri); her grandchildren, Rachel Rose, Ivy Frisinger, Asher Zeitlen, Isaac Rose (Jen), Micah Rose (Kirsten) Jared Rose and Kezia Rose; numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the wife of the late Murry Rose and the sister of the late William Miller, the late Tobias Miller and the late Gertrude Kass. Born and raised in Brooklyn,N.Y, she raised her children in Brooklyn and Long Island, and spent her later years in Florida and Pennsylvania. On Long Island, Mildred served as president of the sisterhood of her temple Etz Chaim Synagogue, president of a local chapter of United Cerebral Palsy, and later typed books in Braille for the blind. She was a talented craftswoman who knitted sweaters and made numerous needle points. A graveside service was held at the New Montefiore Cemetery on Long Island NY on December 12th.
