Mrs. Orilla Gillis

Harvard, May 9 – Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Claude Gillis home one mile north of Harvard for Mrs. Orilla Gillis, widow of Horton Gillis, who died Thursday at Elgin hospital. She had been ill for some time.

Surviving, besides her son, Claude, are six sisters, Mrs. Mahala Piper of Sharon, Wis.; Mrs. Clara Spicer of Beloit, Wisc.; Mrs. L. W. Kizer of Fontana, Wisc.; Mrs. Joe Engelhardt of Sharon, Wisc., and Mrs. Charles Quackenbush of Harvard, and on brother, Menzo Burton of California.

The Rev. Herbert Chenoweth of the Methodist church will officiate and burial will be made in Big Foot cemetery.
