Harry E. Masters Jr. 81 of Steubenville, Ohio died Saturday, July 31, 2004 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born in Steubenville on September 4, 1922 a son of the late Harry E. and Jean O'Dell Masters, Sr. Harry was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel as a gasline walker. He was Methodist by faith and served in the Army during WWII. Harry was preceded in death by his parents; wife Josephine V. Skowronski Masters who died on November 14, 1987; sister Mary Ann Valuska; and brother James Robert Masters. Surviving are his brother and sister-in-law Donald and Betty Masters of Steubenville who were the caregivers of Harry; and brother George Masters of Michigan; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. P. Douglas George officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
