Ashley M. Myers
April 22, 1992 – Dec. 17, 2013
Ashley M. Myers, 21, Lilly, was called to the Lord Tuesday.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Randy and Antoinette "Toni" (Wozniak) Myers.
Surviving are her loving parents; an adoring son, Trentyn; her fiance, Jason Lego; a sister, Becky, brother-in-law, Adam, and their daughters, Gabby and Caitlin; and a stepbrother, Brad, wife, Kelly, and their daughters, Kennedy and Harper.
She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Anna and George Wozniak; her paternal grandparents, Carol and Joseph Myers; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, including her extraordinary great-aunt Mary and great-uncle Ray Savukas.
Ashley attended Bishop Carroll High School and was currently enrolled at Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. She was a member of Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church, where she served Mass regularly as an adolescent.
Ashley was a devoted mother, daughter and sister, always willing to extend a helping hand. She had a heart of gold and put her son first, as Trentyn was the light of her life. Her personality enabled her to light up a room upon entry, and her laughter was always contagious. She loved music and was a magnificent violinist, and she enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and attending her niece Gabby's ballet recitals.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at Thomas F. Cloherty Funeral Home, Lilly, where a vigil Mass will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Chapel, Lilly, the Rev. Carl Spishak as celebrant. Committal will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Lilly.
