Lynda Mae Smith, 82, of Okeechobee died December 17, 2013. Born July 14, 1931 in Okeechobee to Hubert and Blanche Raulerson, she was a lifetime resident of Okeechobee.

She enjoyed attending Church of God and her church family. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Smith; sister, Jeanette King; brothers, Paul Raulerson and Clifford Raulerson.

She is survived by two sons, Fred K. Smith and James "Booger" Smith (Debbie); daughter, Lynda Ingram all of Okeechobee; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Geraldine Kemp (Jack) of Okeechobee and Betty Jo Soto (Marco) of Stuart.

Visitation will be 12 p.m. until services at 1 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2013 at Church of God of Okeechobee. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
