Funeral services were at TL Methodist Dec 8 for Frank M Willard who passed away Dec 5 at the Lowe Hospital in Mobridge following a lingering illness. Rev N W Lindloff officiated. Special music was furnished by the Lutheran choir with Mrs. Gottfried Dikoff as pianist.

Interment in TL cemetery. Pallbearers: Buck Simpson, Albin Nesland, Alf Butler, William Pahl, Wayne Kellogg, Gottfried Dikoff. Kesling in charge of arrangements.

Frank Milton Willard was born April 29, 1878, at Bear Lake, MN. He left school at age 11 to cook for a fishing camp. At an early age he passed the state exam to operate steam engines on threshing rigs. He was married Oct 8, 1900, to Betsy Anderson at Marshall, MN. They operated hotels until they came to TL in 1910 where Mr. Willard began cooking in a café. Later years they purchased their own café and hotel which they operated until 1946 when they retired due to Mr. Willard's ill health.

Surviving are his widow; daughter Dana Mary (M H) Jensen of Sidney, MT; brother Fred of Scobey, MT.
