John Pollack, 76, a life-time resident of Rockland, died Sunday morning at the Holy Family hospital after a lingering illness.
He was born in 1870 and in 1893 married Louise Wagner. The couple settled in Rockland where he served three terms as town supervisor.
Mrs. Pollack preceded him in death four years ago.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Harry T. Behnke of Rockland and Mrs. Rueben Born of Collins; one son, William of Collins; five brothers, Ed of Kaukauna and Herman, Fred, Rudolph and Melvin, all of Medford; four sisters, Mrs. Ferdinand Wiggers of Appleton; Mrs. Ben Krause and Mrs. Edward Klein of Medford and Mrs. August Wenzel
of Cedar Grove; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at the Reedsville Cooperative Funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran church in Rockland with the Rev. Marcus Schwartz officiating.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Tuesday morning until the time of the rites.
