Felice E. Allen, 88, of Columbia died March 2, 1994, at Boone Hospital Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at St. Luke United Methodist
Church with the Rev. Raymond W. Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Memorial
Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, at Warren
Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Allen was born May 9, 1905, in Slater to Charles and Maggie Robinson
Elgin.
She was employed at Stephens College and was a member of the Methodist Women's
Committee and the Trustee Board, a chairwoman of the Annual Breakfast
Committee and a member and first treasurer of St. Luke United Methodist
Church,
Survivors include a son, Charles Allen of Columbia; two grandsons, Winfert
Simpson of Columbia and Chris Allen of Atlanta; a granddaughter, Chanel M.
Allen of Columbia; three nephews; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two sisters and two brothers.
