She was the daughter of the late Theodore Edward Perkins and Mattie Conner Perkins, who survives. She was married to Malcolm Stover Roark, Jr.
She was member of the Centerville Baptist Church, the VFW Ladies
Auxillary in Halifax and was retired as Deputy Clerk for the Halifax County General District Court.

The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home, Wednesday, from 7-8:30 P.M. and other times at her home, 1220 Swain Road, Halifax, Virginia.
