She was the widow of James H. Armbrister and a member of the Olive Branch United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Roy (Lutie) Grimes, Mrs. Frank (Marjorie) Alley, both of Max Meadows, and Mrs. Lee Olin (Betty) Boye of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; two sons, Luther F. Armbrister of Wytheville and Herman Armbrister of Max Meadows; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren also survive.
